Prof. Yousef AbdulGhaffar Abdalla is a distinguished academic and a pioneering figure in the field of renewable energy. With a Ph.D. in Energy from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom (1983), an MSc in Mechanical Engineering (1976), and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering (1975) from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia, Prof. Abdalla has dedicated his career to advancing sustainable energy solutions. As a member of various prestigious international bodies, such as the Board of Trustees of the German Orient Institute and the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP), Prof. Abdalla has significantly contributed to the global academic community. His leadership extends to the Regional Network for Social Responsibility, where he serves as Chairman of the Board, and to his role as the Dean of the International Ambassador for Social Responsibility.
